PRAXIS provides the following services to organizations.
Strategic Planning & Visioning: We design and facilitate inclusive and engaging planning and visioning processes that provide organizations with an agreed-upon, long-term roadmap – or compass – for the future. We adapt the approach and process to meet your desired outcomes and your organization’s culture. And, we can help you begin to immediately follow-through on your plan, ensuring a fast and productive start that can be sustained over years.
Managing and Implementing Organizational Change & Improvements: We help executives, leaders, and managers design, implement, and manage change and improvement efforts that succeed – change efforts that staff embrace and participate in, and that can be sustained over time.
Performance Measurement Systems: We help organizations identify or refine their performance measurement systems and establish a baseline for demonstrating progress/ successes.
Organizational and System-wide Assessments: We conduct comprehensive analyses of organizations and systems providing executives, leaders, and managers with an independent assessment of strengths and areas for improvement, and recommendations for improvement. After completing the assessment, we work collaboratively with you (and/or your team) to implement the recommendations and assess progress/successes.
Organizational Design/Re-design: We help executives, leaders, and managers critically review their current organizational structures and re-design as needed based on contemporary organizational design principles, organizational goals, and your organization’s culture.
Succession/Career Planning and Talent Pool Development Programs: We help organizations develop succession and/or career planning programs to ensure that they have a “pipeline of talent” ready to fill critical positions when they become vacant. These efforts also help attract and retain talented staff.
Public/Community Participation & Collaboration: We design and facilitate public, community, and/or customer participation processes to gather input/feedback to help organizations improve services and products. We also design and facilitate problem-solving processes or those aimed at addressing difficult issues, ultimately enhancing collaboration among diverse parties or entities.
Surveys (Customer Satisfaction, Employee Opinion, Training Needs Assessment, Work Climate Surveys): We design and administer electronic surveys to assess customer and employee satisfaction, training needs assessment, organizational climate, and more, providing executives, leaders, and managers with essential information to improve.
Research Design, Evaluation, & Data Analysis: We also design and conduct quantitative and qualitative research on a wide range of organizational programs and issues, providing executives, leaders, and managers with independent findings that help them understand and improve program effectiveness and outcomes.
Leadership, Management, and Team Development: We help organizations develop executives, leaders, managers, and teams through 360-degree feedback, team problem-solving or planning sessions, individual coaching, and training and development programs. Large and Small Group Facilitation: As process experts, we assist organizations in designing and facilitating large and small group processes that successfully achieve desired outcomes. These typically take the form of retreats, visioning and planning meetings, problem solving sessions, and employee, customer, and community feedback sessions.
Examples of the services PRAXIS provides to teams are as follows.
Team Assessments: We evaluate teams of all types. Team assessments typically include gathering information from all team members through surveys, individual interviews, and focus groups on a wide range of issues including team goals, how work is done, accomplishments, communication and problem-solving practices, group dynamics, and more. We summarize our findings and recommendations and work with the team leader, individual members, and or the

Team Development/Team Building: We work with both highly functioning and struggling teams to help them develop and improve. Using information gathered in the assessment/diagnostic phase, we customize an approach and process that will address issues, problems, and/or opportunities to help the team be even more successful and/or function more productively.
Consensus Building, Collaborative Decision-Making, and Conflict Resolution: We help teams of all types enhance their decision-making and problem-solving practices, which include dealing directly and productively with conflict and differences. We focus on examining existing group norms and re-shaping individual and team behaviors as needed.
Team Training: PRAXIS customizes team training to meet the unique needs of each team. Common topics include: leadership skills, managerial effectiveness, strategic planning, organizational performance measurement, becoming a high performance team, enhancing teamwork, developing a high performance work environment, managing change and transition, coaching staff, providing 360-degree feedback, problem solving, succession planning and career development,
and work process improvement.
PRAXIS provides the following services to leaders, managers, and staff.
Enhancing Individual Effectiveness (Executive, Managerial, and Team Leader): We help executives, managers, and team leaders improve their overall effectiveness by critically evaluating their goals, methods for achieving their goals, interactions with their teams and other organizational members, and the work environment. We provide individuals with suggestions and recommendations for enhancing effectiveness.
360-Degree Feedback: We design and administer 360-degree feedback surveys for executives, managers, and team leaders, and facilitate feedback and coaching sessions to help them understand their feedback, build on their strengths, and improve in developmental areas.
Executive, Managerial, and Team Leader Coaching: We provide coaching services to executives, leaders, managers, and team leaders. We help them assess their goals and performance, and develop an action plan for enhancing overall effectiveness and performance.
